QB: Matthew Stafford (Lions)
Stafford looks like the real deal. Last week he posted BIG numbers and I expect the same this week versus the chiefs. He is a must start at home.
QB: Tony Romo (Cowboys)
I can’t trust Romo after a lost like that on Sunday night, now he travels to San Francisco where it’s no walk in the park. I see a few sacks and an INT in the near future.
RB: Fred Jackson (Bills)
Jackson is at home, it’s getting chilly, and they get the Raiders week 2. This should be really fun for Jackson’s home coming party.
RB: Tim Hightower (Redskins)
I say Shanahan switches up on us this week and doesn’t get Hightower that much involved. So you ask why? Because the Redskins will fall behind early and will be forced to air it out.
RB: Ben Jarvis Ellis (Patriots)
Ok, before you say that Brady might throw for another 500 yards, I say I agree! But, with that said I see at least a short yardage TD for Ellis with these teams going back and forth.
RB: Ryan Matthews (Chargers)
This one really bothers me because I personally have him on one of my fantasy teams, but if the Chargers fall behind fast and early Rivers might throw for 500 yards and Matthews might be left out the fun.
WR: Robert Mechaum (Saints)
This week there is no Colston, a limping Moore, and a yet cemented Henderson, all that equals a MUST START for Robert Mechaum. Did I say they play the Bears at home?
RB: Matt Forte (Bears)
The only way Forte proves me wrong this week is if he takes another 70 yard screen pass to the house. He won’t be able to run on the Saints like he did last week on the Falcons.
WR: Malcom Floyd (Chargers)
Rivers will be looking for Jackson and Floyd all day long. The chargers will probably be playing from behind all afternoon. Quick stat for you guru’s Chargers are 0-2 last 3 years at Foxboro.
WR: Dwayne Bowe (Chiefs)
On the road versus a young, hungry, and talented defense YES! Talented and it could be a long day for Bowe with many injuries going around that team.
WR: Hines Ward (Steelers)
Big Ben and company will come out slinging and with a vengeance “Sorry Seahawks”. I expect a big day from Mike Wallace, Hines Ward, and Heath Miller.
WR: Dez Bryant (Cowboys)
So everyone is looking at me like WHAT? Really? Dez Bryant? I say yes Dez Bryant this week will go on silent mode and Miles Austin will be jumping for joy.
TE: Rob Grownsoski (Patriots)
If you want the yardage and PPR points go with Aaron Hernandez, but if you want the yardage and a few TD’s then go with Rob Grownsoski.
TE: Antonio Gates (Chargers)
If you notice there are a few San Diego Chargers and New England Patriots on this list, must be a theme. Gates will be the one to suffer though as the Patriots will lock him down.
They need this game to re-gain their confidence and I believe they will. They are at home with a banged up Rams offense so you better believe the Giants will take advantage of every opportunity.
They didn’t convince me last week and this week’s matchup isn’t any easier. Yes there at home but Tampa is no pushover especially with healthy Josh Freeman.
KICKER: Nick Folk (Jets)
I see a grind out game between Jags and Jets so I expect Folk to get plenty of chances.
KICKER: Mike Nugent (Bengals)
Mark my words the offense will struggle this week at mile high so don’t expect many field goal opportunities for Nugent.
