Week 1 Start / Sit

QB: Ryan Fitzpatrick (Bills)
He should come out slinging week 1 he is my deep sleeper so I would trust him week 1 if you were in a deep 14-16 team league.
PROJECTION: 22 PTS

QB: Josh Freeman (Buccaneers)
He is facing a re-vamped Lions Defense which did NOT look like a joke during Pre-season all I’m gonna say is proceed with caution.
PROJECTION: 11 PTS

RB: Ryan Matthews (Chargers)
Some people might be on the edge to start or sit this gentlemen i say “Let’em Loose” he should be effective week 1 vs Minnesota and at home.
PROJECTION: 16 PTS

RB: Maurice Jones Drew (Jaguars)
On the road and with few reps during Pre-season doesn’t convince me to start him right away. Tennessee is a good decent defense and better at home.
PROJECTION: 10 PTS

RB: Ryan Grant (Packers)
Played 10 minutes last year but he looked more than ready this pre-season. Week 1 vs Saints should be high scoring on both sides so I wouldn’t be scared to start Grant.
PROJECTION: 13 PTS

RB: Rashard Mendenhall (Steelers)
Ok it’s vs the Ravens and it’s on the road he will have a tough time running between the tackles the Ravens never make it easy for anyone.
PROJECTION: 9 PTS

RB/WR:Mike Sims Walker (Rams)
Now in St. Louis I expect BIG things and vs the Eagles the Rams should be playing from behind so there will be a lot of airing out the football.
PROJECTION: 13 PTS

RB/WR: Tim Hightower (Redskins)
I would sit him this week just to see how this Redskins situation plays out and if he really is the #1 back. If you have his old teammate (Beanie Wells) that’s a better flex play.
PROJECTION: 7 PTS

WR: Brandon Marshall (Dolphins)
I see the Dolphins playing from behind most of the game and if you are in a PPR league this might be the man to go with.
PROJECTION: 13 PTS

WR: Dwayne Bowe (Chiefs)
With Matt Cassel not being 100% for week 1 and at any given time being benched via injury, I say go without Bowe for one week until situation is concrete.
PROJECTION: 8 PTS

WR: Steve Johnson (Bills)
I see Johnson starting off on the right foot this year. Fitzpatrick will look for him as much as he can for that deep ball.
PROJECTION: 12 PTS

WR: Marques Colston (Saints)
Week’s 1 matchup isn’t going to come easy for any of the Saints wideouts, add the fact that Brees doesn’t really have a favorite target and I say go with some safer like Steve Johnson.
PROJECTION: 6 PTS

TE: Aaron Hernandez (Patriots)
Till the Dolphins prove they can cover the middle and a tight end I can say with confidence I would start Hernandez for a few dump offs vs the Fish.
PROJECTION: 8 PTS

TE: Dallas Clark (Colts)
Without Manning the Colts offense losses some punch but the one to lose the most punch is Dallas Clark. He will be forced to stay and help block for the running game so they don’t run Collins to the ground.
PROJECTION: 7 PTS

DEF: Giants
They are going against Rex Grossman just in case you haven’t heard.
PROJECTION: 13 PTS

DEF: Dolphins
They are facing Brady and he looks like he is on a mission once again so this can get ugly quick.

KICKER: Dan Carpenter (Dolphins)
The Dolphins will have a lot of opportunities to kick field goals on Monday night. Hey they might even sneak in a touch down or two say it ain’t so

KICKER: Olindo Mare (Panthers)
There will be a lot of early turnovers with Cam Newton at the helm
